| the first five are completed, paid for, and about to reach their final destinations. now it's time to tweak a few others, go back to work, and then hope for the best. here's to the furture... | | |
| on a positive note, it appears that all of the files and photos from my parents' computer are still on the hard drive, even after resetting it to its factory settings. it's been rather interesting finding everything and updating the computer with lots of security updates, but i think i might have worked out all of the problems from before. on a different note, i just wanted to state that i can't believe that it's been a semester since many of us graduated! it doesn't feel like that long at all and the time sure went by quickly. well, that's it for now, but merry christmas everyone! | | |
| okay, so i think i just reset my parents' computer back to its original settings - like the ones from the factory...and now everything (word files, pictures, etc.) is lost! is there any way back? i really need it to go back, but not back to loud beebing/moaning that happened yesterday. sometimes technology is great, but it's at times like these that reminds me that we rely on technology a little too much and when something goes wrong, bad things can happen. i hope there is a way back...maybe just to recover the pictures and documents. i guess it might be a good time to call in the professionals. i would say that i'm fairly capable on a computer, but there are limits to those capabilities. | | |
| So apparently, my now three year old niece was right when she predicted that her mom (my sister) would be having "a big, big, big, big, big, baby boy." Yay Ainsley - you definitely deserve a gold star. Now as far as her naming him Chochi, that is still up in the air. ;) We'll see when he finally arrives. | | |
| Well folks, The LSAT is finished...at least for now. I think yesterday went okay and I felt fine afterwards. It did make for a long day starting at 5AM, but I am so glad to have that sucka behind me. I am very hopeful that I will have done well enough not to have taken it again, but I'll just have to wait and see in three weeks when the results come in. In the mean time, I have my personal statement to pull together as well as filling out applications. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. | | |
